Temporary Handyman – Concord (2 Factory Sites)

Location: Concord, ON
Duration: June 15 – July 24
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Schedule: M-F, 7:00am-3:00pm

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to provide temporary coverage at two candy manufacturing facilities in Concord. This role involves traveling between both sites to handle general maintenance, minor repairs, and day-to-day upkeep to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repair tasks (basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
Painting touch ups as needed.
Address minor facility issues promptly and efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Travel between two nearby factory locations as required.

Requirements:

Previous handyman or maintenance experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Reliable vehicle required (must be able to travel between both sites).
Good communication and time management skills.
Ability to handle physical tasks and lift moderate weight.

Schedule:

Coverage required from June 15 to July 24.
Hours and shifts to be discussed during hiring process.
