Generations Cleaning is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to service a commercial entertainment facility in Peterborough.
This is an overnight position with a consistent 5-day-per-week schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working independently, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and professional environment.
Schedule:
- Tuesday: 12:00 a.m. – 4:30 a.m.
- Thursday: 12:00 a.m. – 4:30 a.m.
- Friday: 2:00 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.
- Saturday: 2:00 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.
- Sunday: 12:00 a.m. – 4:30 a.m.
Approximately 22.5 hours per week.
Applicants must be available to consistently work the full schedule above.
Scope of Work:
- Clean and sanitize 5 washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, fixtures and high-touch surfaces; replenish client-provided supplies and remove waste.
- Clean Bingo, POS, Lotto, Food/Beverage and public areas, including dusting, wiping chairs and ledges, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors and removing garbage/recycling.
- Clean 1 office, including desks, furniture, electronics, ledges, glass, floors and high-touch surfaces.
- Clean 1 kitchen/lunchroom, including counters, sink, tables, chairs, appliances, cabinets and floors. Complete monthly interior fridge and toaster oven cleaning.
- Maintain designated exterior areas through litter pickup, sweeping, garbage removal and wiping outdoor tables and benches.
- Complete cleaning supply inventory reports as required.
- Perform general dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and waste removal throughout assigned areas.
IMPORTANT: Slot machines are NOT to be touched or cleaned at any time. Do not clean restricted back Food & Beverage areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow site-specific cleaning instructions.
- Must be comfortable working overnight hours.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Peterborough location.
- Must be available for all 5 scheduled shifts each week.
